The Great Judgement Day
I was brought up in a Christian household, my family have talked about things like the rapture, prophecy and judgement day. All of these things are pretty scary, except if you are believer because it means that Jesus is about to return.
It Started with the Y2k Bug do you remember that? It was said that all the computers would go wacky and all of society would be halted. As we move onward looking into the near future there are 2 big events said to happen.
I am not going to agree or disagree with this rather I just want to mention that there are tons of people out there that believe that these events are soon to happen.
The first judgement is scheduled to happen soon.
This whole May 21,2011 thing the problem I have with this is the man Harold Camping is that the bible states that no man will no the hour and the date of the end of the end of the world except for god. However enough people believe that this will happen that there is a website and a bunch of youtube videos on the subject

2012 - The End Of Everything!
So here is the big one, the Mayan's have us all doomed on their calender. In fact this has so many people scared that there are literally people all over the world who are preparing for the end to come. They are building bunkers in strategic locations.
I don't know about all of you, but if the world is coming to an end don't you think more people would be preparing for this. I think Hollywood really did a good job at putting in our imaginations the end of the world. Heck T.V Channels like National Geographic has even gotten in on all the hype!

What do you think? Do you think the end is upon us? Do you think that humanity is soon to go the way of the dodo bird?
I would really love to hear your feedback. Personally I believe that until the day comes when the world will end we have to go to our day to day business. I am not sure I want to live in a post apocalyptic world. I think the world we live in is pretty good. We have air conditioning, telephones and tv's. The world really isn't all bad.

It is true the end will come but when, I believe no one knows. The signs of the times seem to be sooner than later. As you said the Bible says no man knows the day or the hour. However it also says when you see wars and rumors of wars and earthquakes in diver places the time is close. The increase of violence and immorality is also to increase during that time. I dont believe it will be the 21st of this month for The Bible also says that it will come on us like a thief in the night so it will be unexpected. God purposely does not want us to know the exact time but wants us as Christians to be vigilant and to be always ready.
